Broadway Bares Fire Island will return to Fire Island Pines this summer for one night only June 3. This year’s popular striptease benefit, which will be set to a soundtrack of pop hits, will be performed twice at 7 PM and 9 PM at Whyte Hall's Brandon Fradd Theater, with all proceeds going towards Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
Broadway Bares Fire Island is an intimate adaptation of the annual New York City event, Broadway Bares. The show is created exclusively for Fire Island by director Michael Lee Scott, and will be followed by Bares' signature rotation, where the performers step off the stage to freestyle dance for cash donations.
The evening is produced in association with Fire Island Pines Arts Project.
This year’s 27th edition of Broadway Bares in New York will take place June 18 in the Hammerstein Ballroom and will feature more than 150 male and female dancers. The theme is Strip University; scroll through photos below:
Tickets for Broadway Bares range from $50 to $3,000. For other information and merchandise, visit BroadwayBares.com. The Hammerstein Ballroom is located at 311 West 34th Street, NYC.
