Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton

London and Broadway co-stars Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are engaged, according to People. The confirmation comes after Ashton sported an engagement ring on the carpet for the 2022 BAFTA Awards earlier this week.

The two shared the stage during the recent revival of Harold Pinter's Betrayal, which opened in London's West End in March 2019 and transferred to Broadway in August of that same year. The Pinter play recounts a seven-year romance, but tells its story in reverse chronological order. Hiddleston played Robert, a man whose wife Emma, played by Ashton, is having an affair with his best friend Jerry, played by Charlie Cox; the play traces the affair back to its beginnings.

Both Ashton and Hiddleston made their Broadway debuts with the show, as did co-star Cox.
