Next up in the 28th summer season of Boston, MA's outdoor Publick Theatre is Stephen Sondheim's waltz-driven musical, A Little Night Music. This adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's Smiles of a Summer Night features such songs as "Send In The Clowns," "Liaisons" and "The Glamorous Life." Opening Aug. 6, Music plays through Sept. 6.
Also at the Publick for two performances (Aug. 10-11) will be a special staging of A.R. Gurney's epistolary comedy/drama, Love Letters, featuring Publick artistic director Spiro Veloudos and executive director Schoenberg.
Later on, Deborah Schoenberg will direct (Aug. 18-25) William Shakespeare's Macbeth, as part of the company's educational outreach program.
