Industry News Black Theatre United Plans The Business of Show Discussion Series

Honoring Black History Month, the free series will include three talks with the organization's founders.

Theatrical advocacy organization Black Theatre United will host a four-part discussion series titled The Business of Show in honor of Black History Month.

The first entry, set for February 27 at 3 PM, will feature the founders of BTU and moderator Angela Robinson. A May 16 session will cover the meaning of EDIAB with moderator Kenji Yoshino, and a September 12 session will focus on Minding Your Business with moderator Ginger McKnight Shavers. All discussions will be hosted by Ernst & Young, LLP, at their One Manhattan West office. The February 27 free event requires an RSVP at BlackTheatreUnited.com.

Additional dates and topics will be announced in the coming weeks. BTU is accepting topic suggestions through their website.
