Tyne Daly (Gypsy), John Glover (Waiting for Godot), and Billy Eugene Jones (Fat Ham) will lead a private industry reading of William Semans and Roy M. Close's A Brief Crack of Light. The new play will feature direction by Michael Lindsay-Hogg. Presented by Walking Path Entertainment, LLC, the readings will be held on May 4 and May 5.

A Brief Crack of Light follows two roommates, Mae and James, on the brink of eviction, both surviving off of social security, without any other source of stability. James, a faded actor and former professor, resigned from work due to a scandal, and Mae serves as his caretaker. But can they trust a twist of fate to uplift them from their circumstances?

The work has been produced twice previously: in Minneapolis, and in Los Angeles. Its New York debut is cast by Pat McCorkle Casting. General Management is by Perry Street Theatricals.
