The festival is done in collaboration with The Network for Performing Arts in Norway, BIT Teatergarasjen, Black Box Teater and Teaterhuset Avantgarden, and coincides with the 100th anniversary of Norway's independence from Sweden.

Zero visibility corp., a dance company that works with artists creating experimental electronic music, "explores diverse themes through improvisation; material is created in close collaboration with the dancers and designers, particularly regarding sound. It's Only a Rehearsal is a powerful, physical duet intertwining Ovid's story of Acteaon and Artemis. This classic coupling is exquisitely abstracted into hot choreography in an hour-long pas de deux, deftly wrapping the story of love and revenge round the dancers' bodies until it becomes skin." Performance company Baktruppen presents a "movement performance that playfully subverts conventional notions of modern dance. The seven performers—middle-aged and in tights—frankly imitate the codes of modern dance and gymnastics without worrying about their physical limitations."

Ole Mads Vevle works within the fields of art, performance, video, text and music. In, But, What's It All About?, he "performs his own text accompanied by a video montage. A dialogue between a father and his son ensues. The son's refrain of `But, what's it all about?' elicits ever-more elaborate answers from his father. Vevle channels the language of television, bombarding the audience with a continuous stream of information, mixing the high with the low, the comic and the tragic, the serious and nonsensical." Verdensteatret is a multidisciplinary arts collective. The performance Concert for Greenland "combines theatre with visual art, video, shadow play and live music, making the performance into a complex polyphonic instrument, a `live animation machine' consisting of mirror projections, robots and motorized objects. "

Hooman Sharifi, who immigrated from Iran to Norway when he was 14, established the Impure Company in 2000 "to create direct and unpretentious performances that are also controversial and politically charged. In We Failed to Hold This Reality in Mind, Sharifi relates his experience of dislocation and identity in an unconventional, non- narrative way. Combining classical Iranian music with spoken text and dancing, Sharifi is both confrontational and compelling as he explores memory, identity, misunderstanding, politics, boredom and incomprehension."
