LOS ANGELES -- Betty Garrett, Shirley Jones, Brock Peters, Charlotte Rae and Janis Paige are just a few of the more than 40 performers who will appear in Lerner, Loewe, Lane & Friends , the 14th annual S.T.A.G.E. (Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event), an annual AIDS benefit, slated for Jan. 30-Feb. 1.

The company will perform music from such shows as My Fair Lady, Camelot, Brigadoon, Paint Your Wagon and Finian's Rainbow at the Luckman Theatre at Cal State Los Angeles.

The event is directed by David Galligan and produced by Naomi Caryl, Ronn Goswick, Jonathan Kanes, Michael Kearns, Richard Loring and Harry Prongue.

This year's show benefits Project Angel Food and the AIDS Service Center, two of Los Angeles' high-profile organizations serving those living with HIV and AIDS.

Performances are Jan. 30 and 31 at 8 PM, and Feb. 1 at 3 PM, at the Luckman Theatre, 5151 State University Dr. Tickets range in price $50 to $150 and are available by calling (800) 376-7232 or from all Ticketmaster outlets. -- By Willard Manus
