Broadway is headed to Portugal for the 2024 iteration of Broadway in Lisbon, set for July 15-21. The week-long event will include a full schedule of shows, workshops, and concerts. Headliners include Bernadette Peters, Gavin Creel, and Keala Settle.
Tony winner Peters will kick-off the event with a gala opening night event July 15 at Capitólio, Parque Mayer. The evening will feature a conversation with Peters followed by a Q&A, plus performances from Portuguese guest artists.
Settle will perform in a concert titled Broadway in the Park July 19 and 20 in Jardim de Torel, joined by a live band and a cast of 10 Portuguese actors, singers, and dancers.
Tony winner Creel is set for a talk and Q&A July 19 at Auditório Biblioteca Municipal Orlando Ribeiro, and will also lead workshops at S. Carlos National Theater July 19-21. Creel's workshops are already sold out.
