News Audition for MasterVoices Concert Series With Tony-Winning Conductor Tony Award-winning conductor/director Ted Sperling is holding auditions for MasterVoices, an organization that specializes in performing works from the classical/opera, operetta and musical theatre realms in a creative, semi-staged concert format.

The concerts feature stars from the operatic and Broadway worlds, and collaborates with Orchestra of Saint Luke's. This season's soloists include Kelli O'Hara, Victoria Clark, Deborah Voigt, Hunter Parrish and Phillip Boykin, among others.

This season's works to be performed include The Pirates of Penzance, "Dido and Aeneas," Mahler's Second Symphony "Resurrection" and two new works by Michael John LaChiusa and Marisa Michelson.

Performance venues include City Center, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

Auditions for MasterVoices are being held through Aug. 20. Rehearsals are on Monday nights.
