SEATTLE--Ever wanted to have an impact on a playwright's product? Seattle Playwright's Alliance may be just what you're looking for, as they offer audiences a chance to hear a reading of a new play, critique it, and then return a week later to hear a revamped version. Thurs. April 9 (revised encore April 16) is Heartbeat, Janice Kennedy's drama of community; Fri. April 10 (and April 17) is Mary Lathrop's farce about love & marriage The Six Basic Rules ; and Saturday April 11 (and April 18), Cartography, an adventure fantasy by K.C. Davis.
The readings are being hosted by and at Richard Hugo House, 1634 11th Ave. at 8 PM each evening. A $3 donation is requested.
