Stageworks/Hudson presents the drama, which began previews July 5 and opens July 7 for a run through July 23 at the Max and Lillian Katzman Theater in Hudson, NY.

Tony Award-winning playwright Wright will appear at the Stageworks/Hudson for the opening night premiere and conduct a talk back with the audience following the performance.

Jeffrey Mousseau directs the production in which Kuhn takes on nearly three dozen characters in the tale of the life of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, an East German transvestite who managed to survive both the Nazi and Communist regimes.

Kuhn appeared on Broadway as Giuseppe Zangara in the Tony Award-winning production of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins and has also played in Wicked and the original company of Ragtime and Off-Broadway in the Playwrights Horizons concert staging of Adam Guettel and Tina Landau's Floyd Collins.

The design team includes John Pollard (set), Andi Lyons (lighting), Janet Sussman (costume) and Jeffrey Lependorf (sound). John Fout and Christine Schurtman serve as dialect coach and consultants. The dramaturge is James Farrell and stage manager is Anthony Mantello.
