Jeremy B. Cohen will stage the work, which will play both venues. New Jersey's George Street run is slated for Feb. 27-March 23, and Connecticut's Hartford Stage will present the work April 3-May 4. Matthew Arkin, Henny Russell, Liam Craig and Christy McIntosh will appear in the cast of The Scene, which debuted at the Humana Festival and played Off-Broadway last season.

The comedy follows "four New Yorkers making it big (or trying to) in the entertainment industry," according to show notes. "Life is just one dull party after another until Clea, a hungry young starlet, enters the picture. With an eye-popping figure, a dangerous wardrobe and an insatiable appetite for men and money, she'll shake up the lives of one couple and their best friend."

Rebeck was recently represented on Broadway with Mauritius. Other plays include The Water's Edge, Bad Dates, The Butterfly Collection and Spike Heels. She also co-wrote, with Alexandra Gersten Vassilaros, the 2004 Pulitzer Prize finalist Omnium Gatherum.

The production boasts the warning: "Recommended for mature audiences. Sexual situations, profanity."
