Roundabout Theatre Company's upcoming world premiere of Alex Lin's Chinese Republicans has found full casting, with performances slated to begin February 5, 2026 at the company's Off-Broadway Laura Pels Theatre. Opening night will be February 26, with the limited run continuing through April 5. Chay Yew (New York City Center's The Light in the Piazza) is directing.

Starring will be Jennifer Ikeda (Vietgone) as Ellen and Ailin, Ben Langhorst as Waiter and Daniel, Jully Lee (KPOP) as Iris, Emmy winner Jodi Long (Dash & Lily) as Phyllis and Young Phyllis, and Anna Zavelson (currently in Masquerade) as Katie. Casting is by Carrie Gardner.

The work centers on three high-powered businesswomen who meet a bright-eyed newcomer to impart some career advice, an endeavor that makes them grapple with what they've had to sacrifice for career advancement.

The premiere will feature scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, sound design by Fabian Obispo, projection design by Hana Kim, hair and wig design by Tom Watson, and fight direction by UnkleDave's Fight-House.
