News Anna D. Shapiro Will Direct Larry David's Fish in the Dark at Broadway's Cort; Initial Casting Announced Fish in the Dark, the new comedy written by and starring Larry David, will begin previews Feb. 2, 2015, prior to an official opening March 5 at Broadway's Cort Theatre on West 48th Street.

The play, from the creator and star of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and co-creator of “Seinfeld," will be directed by Anna D. Shapiro. In addition to writer David, the cast will also feature Jayne Houdyshell, Jake Cannavale, Jonny Orsini, Rosie Perez and Jerry Adler. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Fish in the Dark is described as "a comedy about a death in the family."

The production will have scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Ann Roth and lighting design by Brian MacDevitt.

Fish is produced by Scott Rudin.

During previews, show times will be Monday-Saturday at 8 PM with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2 PM. Beginning March 10, show times will be Tuesday and Thursday at 7 PM and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 8 PM with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.
