Why Am I Here?, a solo show created by and starring Aneesa Folds (Freestyle Love Supreme), will receive a developmental workshop performance August 30 at 7:30 PM at The Second City New York. 

According to press notes, Why Am I Here? takes audiences through Folds' mind and soul, exploring love, self-worth, and existential crises. The one-night-only presentation will be directed by Jonald Jude Reyes and music directed by Alan Markley. 

Folds, a.k.a. Young Nees, was seen in both the Broadway production and Las Vegas residency of Freestyle Love Supreme. Her stage credits also include Sistas: The Musical and the national tour of Ragtime
