News Andrew Garfield Makes Surprise Cameo in Punchdrunk's The Drowned Man Andrew Garfield, who earned a 2012 Tony Award nomination for his performance in the Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman, made a surprise theatrical return in London this week as part of Punchdrunk's The Drowned Man, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Garfield was in London promoting "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and made a surprise cameo in the site-specific production, which takes place in a vast building next door to Paddington Station. The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable is inspired by Büchner's fractured masterpiece Woyzeck and set in a seedy Hollywood underworld.

Akin to Punchdrunk's Off-Broadway hit Sleep No More, the cast of 40 roams freely about the space, interacting with audience members. Garfield, who was in full costume, appeared as one of the supporting cast members. Check out the Instagram post below:
