The Dead Outlaw and Shucked star joins the hit revival of the Howard Ashman and Alan Menken musical at the Westside Theatre November 25.

Dead Outlaw Tony nominee Andrew Durand joins the cast of the hit Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors beginning November 25 at the Westside Theatre. Get a first look at Durand in the role in the gallery below.

Durand, whose Broadway credits also include Shucked, Ink, War Horse, Head Over Heels, and Spring Awakening, is stepping into the role of Dr. Orin Scrivello D.D.S. He succeeds Jeremy Kushnier, who played his final performance November 23.

The cast also currently features Thomas Doherty (Gossip Girl) as Seymour and Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid's Tale) as Audrey, along with Reg Rogers (The Dazzle, Merrily We Roll Along) as Mushnik, Christian McQueen as the voice of Audrey II, Christine Wanda as Ronnette, Salome Smith as Crystal, and Morgan Ashley Bryant as Chiffon as well as Teddy Yudain, Jonothon Lyons, Mecca Hicks, Aveena Sawyer, Jeff Sears, Jon Hoche Johnny Newcomb, David Colston Corris, Alloria Frayser, Christopher Swan, and Chani Maisonet.

Previous players in the roles of Seymour and Audrey Off-Broadway have included Jonathan Groff, Tammy Blanchard, Jeremy Jordan, Lena Hall, Maude Apatow, Gideon Glick, Rob McClure, Skylar Astin, Conrad Ricamora, Matt Doyle, Darren Criss, Milo Manheim, Sherie Rene Scott, Evan Rachel Wood, Corbin Bleu, Constance Wu, Sarah Hyland, Andrew Barth Feldman, and RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon, who became first drag queen to play Audrey in a major production of the musical.

The Off-Broadway revival began previews September 17, 2019, prior to an official opening October 17; the production resumed its run September 21, 2021, after temporarily closing in March 2020 due to the pandemic.

Director Michael Mayer's creative team for the Howard Ashman-Alan Menken musical also includes choreographer Ellenore Scott, scenic designer Julian Crouch, lighting designer Bradley King, costume designer Tom Broecker, sound designer Jessica Paz, puppet designer Nicholas Mahon, original puppet designer Martin P. Robinson, hair and makeup designer Tommy Kurzman, music supervisor, orchestrator, and arranger Will Van Dyke, and casting director Jim Carnahan. Puppets are by Monkey Boys Productions.

General management is by Live Wire Theatrical/Chris Aniello, and production stage management is by Kate Croasdale.
