Andrea Bocelli will return to the Metropolitan Opera House in 2019 for two performances at the New York Venue. The tenor will present Three Centuries of Love, featuring operatic arias, songs, and duets, February 10 and 17. The engagement marks his first time performing at the Met in seven years.
The Grammy Award nominee will be accompanied by members of the Met Orchestra under the baton of Eugene Kohn and joined by special guests to be revealed later. The concert will follow the October 26 release of Si, Bocelli’s first album in 14 years.
Tickets will go on sale October 1 at 12 PM to Fan Club members before a general on-sale October 3.
Bocelli frequently shares the concert stage with theatre veterans, including Sarah Brightman, Heather Headley, and Kristin Chenoweth.
