Comedian Alex Edelman is taking his solo show Just for Us on a U.S. national tour following acclaimed runs on Broadway and in London, Edinburgh, and Melbourne. The tour kicked off October 26 at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco, and has further stops booked into 2024 in Los Angeles, Boston, Berkeley, Detroit, and Chicago.

Just for Us explores how Edelman's personal experiences with antisemitic abuse online led him to crash a gathering of White Nationalists incognito—in New York City. Edelman tells what happens—and raises the larger questions the experience forced him to ask—alongside other stories from his life such as tales about his brother AJ, an Olympian athlete, and having an unconventional holiday season.

The late Adam Brace, who was an integral part to Edelman creating the show, made his Broadway debut posthumously as the show's director. Brace passed away after a short illness in May.

Stand-up comedian Edelman premiered the work in 2018 at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. It then transferred to London's Soho Theater and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, earning a Barry Award nomination and the Herald Angel Award along the way. It's Off-Broadway tenure began with a premiere at Cherry Lane Theatre before it moved to SoHo Playhouse and then Greenwich House Theater, eventually extending six times and winning an Obie Award. "I’ve been lucky enough to take Just for Us all around the world, and so it’s thrilling to bring it to new audiences across America,” says Edelman. “Adam Brace liked to say that the show was an 85-minute wrestling match with a single question: ‘What is our place in the world?’ And that conversation—and the ones that go along with it as we consider identity and antisemitism—have never seemed more relevant. It’s important to me to continue those conversations, and I’m looking forward to doing it with new audiences, in new cities.”
