News Alan Cumming Joins Mary Louise Wilson For Screening of "She's the Best Thing In It" To celebrate the digital release of "She's the Best Thing In It," the Mary Louise Wilson documentary, the film is set to receive a special advanced screening in New York Feb. 18. It's star, filmmaker Ron Nyswaner and Tony winner Alan Cumming will take part in a post-film discussion.

The Feb. 18 screening will take place at Core: Club in New York, with a Q&A moderated by Cumming. "She's the Best Thing In It" will be available on demand Feb. 23. For more information on where to purchase it, visit Shesthebestthinginit.com.

The documentary follows the Tony-winning actress' return to her native New Orleans to teach acting. "As Wilson [Grey Gardens, On the 20th Century] finds her footing in this new role, she reflects on her long career, the sacrifices she's made and the challenges faced by older actresses in the industry," state the film's production notes. Appearing in the feature are Tyne Daly, Valerie Harper, Melissa Leo, Frances McDormand and Estelle Parsons, among others.
