Blackbird has proved another hit for the troupe. It has extended its run to May 29 at the Blue Heron Arts Center. Blackbird will begin performances March 31 for an opening on April 15. Adam Rapp will direct his own work, which is set on Christmas Eve in a dirty squat on Manhattan's Canal Street. There, a Desert Storm veteran and a 19-year-old runaway heroine addict spend the holiday. Mandy Siegfried and Paul Sparks star. Sparks' career took off at the Blue Heron, after he received a Drama Desk nomination for his work in the unheralded Coyote on a Fence.

Tickets are $40. Call (212) 868-4444.
