News Actress Kellie Overbey Turns Playwright With Off-Broadway's Girl Talk, Nov. 4 Kellie Overbey, known for her acting work in Twentieth Century and Buried Child, among other credits, will make her Off-Broadway debut as a playwright this fall.

The Barrow Group will present Overbey's Girl Talk at its 312 W. 36th Street space. The four-week run will begin Nov. 4. Marcia DeBonis and Dierdre Lovejoy will star in the piece, which was presented as part of the 2002 Key West Theatre Festival. A third role is yet to be cast.

Overbey has acted on Broadway in Present Laughter, QED and Judgment at Nuremberg. Off-Broadway, she's starred in Betty's Summer Vacation and The Hologram Theory.

Her one-act My Wife's Coat was one of the winners of the 2004 Samuel French Short Play Festival.
