Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion American Revival transfers to New York’s The Town Hall for a performance November 26, helmed by Tony-winning director Walter Bobbie.

Broadway conductor Rob Fisher will lead the Demitasse Orchestra, who will be joined by vocalists Christine DiGiallonardo and Heather Masse, and keyboardist Richard Dworsky. Starring in the performance will be Tim Russell and Sue Scott. Sound effects will be by Fred Newman.

The production will arrive following performances at Denver’s Buell Theatre and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. A Prairie Home Companion is a weekly radio broadcast, created and hosted by Keillor for 40 years. The variety show, which was known in particular for spotlighting folk and traditional musicians and ended in 2016, has been revived for this live performance.
