Lincoln Center Theater's LCT3 presents the world premiere of new musical In the Green, featuring a book and score by Grace McLean (who also stars). Performances began June 8 at the Claire Tow Theater; opening night is set for June 27.
Obie Award winner Lee Sunday Evans (LCT3's Bull in a China Shop, A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes) directs the new show about Hildegard von Bingen, a woman who, before she became one of Medieval history's most renowned healers and saints, was secluded in a cell with her mentor Jutta.
