Lining up at the stage door is a Broadway tradition as old as any other. Following a show, audience members make a beeline for the allocated area and wait patiently for the stars to emerge, sharpie in hand, to sign their Playbills.
Rain, hail or shine, the dedicated remain dedicated, sometimes waiting over an hour—because if there’s anything more exciting than seeing a show on Broadway, it’s getting to meet the cast after and walking away with that signed Playbill, a memento to be treasured, shared, and passed-down.
Tyler Mount kick off Season Four of Playbill’s The Tyler Mount Vlog with the inside scoop on how to get the most out of your stage door experience. Watch the latest episode above for his five essential tips.
