Twelve of the 36 currently-running Broadway shows have scheduled closings over the summer, offering fans a last chance to catch them and their award-winning or award-nominated performers, scripts or designs.
A few of the closings are long-running hits like The King and I and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, but most are completing limited runs.
Among the most imminent: the last chance to see Frank Langella's Tony-winning performance in The Father will come June 19; the last chance to see Jessica Lange's Tony-winning performance in Long Day's Journey Into Night is June 26.
Though a third of the current Broadway shows will be closing, most of the theatres have already been rebooked with incoming shows.
