Indoor Boys, the Indie Award-winning streaming series written by and starring Wesley Taylor (SpongeBob SquarePants, Smash) and Alex Wyse (Wicked, Spring Awakening), returns for a second season beginning June 25. The series moves from Los Angeles, the setting for the first season, to New York City, where the two friends are navigating a family reunion.
With a total of eight new chapters, Season 2 of Indoor Boys premieres on HuffPost Queer Voices, with two episodes released each Monday for four weeks. The first two episodes are available on Vimeo here and here.
Among the Broadway alums to make guest appearances in the second season are Tony nominee Carolee Carmello, who plays Ellen, mother to Nate (Wyse), and Obie and Drama Desk Award winner Veanne Cox, who plays Lenora, mother to Luke (Taylor). Also tapped to appear are Krysta Rodriguez, Kyle Harris, Lilli Cooper, Isaac Powell, Rana Roy, and Michael Kostroff, along with the return of Frankie Grande, Michael Tacconi, and Patrika Darbo.
Indoor Boys is created, directed, and stars Taylor and Wyse. Jim Kierstead (Kinky Boots, Waitress) and Michael Kushner are executive producers, and Jack Sharkey and Tye Blue are producers. The show is the recipient of four 2018 Indie Award nominations, including Best Comedy Series. Wyse won for his performance.
