On February 10, the cast and creative team for Amélie, A New Musical, invited the press to New York City’s Cutting Room for a sneak peek at the musical adaptation—set to begin previews at the Walter Kerr Theatre March 9. Tony nominee Phillipa Soo, who will play the charming Parisian waitress, performed the solo number “Times Are Hard for Dreamers,” as well as the duet “Stay,” with co-star Adam Chanler-Berat.
Maria-Christina Oliveras, Alyse Alan Louis, and Harriett D. Foy, who play Amélie’s co-stars in the cafe where she works, also took to the stage to perform “Better Haircut.”
Watch Soo and the company of Amélie perform four songs from the upcoming production.
