Through a quirk in scheduling, Hamilton stars Daveed Diggs and Leslie Odom Jr. made competing appearances head-to-head on rival late night TV talks show May 27.
In one of the more unusual collisions of showbiz names, Odom, who plays Aaron Burr in the musical, told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show about nearly witnessing a fight between singer Art Garfunkel and TV producer and writer Shonda Rhimes:
Diggs, who plays Thomas Jefferon and the Marquis de Lafayette, appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and helped explain to him why Hamilton makes him cry.
