The upcoming spate of Broadway closings will make room for new shows to open in 2016-17, but will leave just one show still running from the entire 2014-15 season, just two years ago.

The scheduled closings of Finding Neverland, An American in Paris and the season's two top Tony winners, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Fun Home, after long runs will leave the Shakespeare-themed musical comedy Something Rotten! as the only show still running among the 39 that opened in one of modern Broadway's busiest and most diverse seasons.

Here are the current shows that have announced closings:

August 21 — Finding Neverland

September 4—The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

September 4—Act of God

September 4—Les Misérables

September 10—Fun Home

October 9—An American in Paris

December 31—Fiddler on the Roof

January 1, 2017—Matilda The Musical

The theatres for nearly all these shows have already been rebooked with incoming shows.

Also closing August 28 is the long-running Off-Broadway show, Fuerza Bruta, after 3,004 performances.
