Trainspotting Live will end its Off-Broadway run at Roy Arias Stages January 19. The immersive production, which opened July 15, 2018, will have played 10 previews and 135 performances.

Trainspotting Live is adapted from Irvine Welsh’s acclaimed Trainspotting novel and the celebrated Danny Boyle film. The show, which debuted in London, is directed by Adam Spreadbury-Maher (the artistic director of King’s Head Theatre) in collaboration with original cast member Greg Esplin.

Original cast members Andrew Barrett, Lauren Downie, Olivier Sublet, and Tariq Aamir Malik welcomed Josh Goulding on October 25, 2018. Goulding succeeded Esplin in the role of Tommy Off-Broadway.

The production's U.K. tour will start in March 2019, culminating in the show's sixth season at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The show is produced Off-Broadway by Brass Jar Productions (Drunk Shakespeare) and Olivier Award-winning producer James Seabright. Performances began July 5 at 777 8th Avenue. Tickets are now on sale at TrainspottingNYC.com.
