Here’s how production notes describe the new show: “Ring Twice for Miranda is a tragi-comedy set in difficult times, roiled by economic upheavals. A man known only as Sir rules with a vengeance, but it's Miranda, a chambermaid, who adds intrigue to his life. When Elliot, the butler, is fired, she flees with him in defiance onto the frightening streets. All must soon make critical decisions with imperfect facts to guide them, since little in their world is as it appears.“
The staging will feature scenic design by Jason Sherwood (Taming of the Shrew, Paint Your Wagon), costume design by Ann Hould-Ward (Beauty and the Beast, Into The Woods, A Catered Affair), lighting design by Matthew Richards (Grey Gardens, Grace), sound design by Rick Lombardo, and original music by Haddon Kime (The Snow Queen, A Streetcar Named Desire). Casting is by Michael Cassara, CSA. It is produced by Red Horse Productions and RME Theatrical Group (executive producer).
