The Playwrights Realm celebrates the world-premiere opening of Jonathan Payne’s play The Revolving Cycles Truly and Steadily Roll'd September 19. The Off-Broadway production is directed by Awoye Timpo at The Duke on 42nd Street.

Described as part social satire and part detective story, the new play follows Karma (played by Kara Young), a teenage girl searching for her missing foster brother in the Oblong—a fictional inner city isolated by poverty.
The cast also includes Lynda Gravátt, Kenneth Tigar, Deonna Bouye, Toni Ann Denoble, Donnell E Smith, Keith Randolph Smith, and James Udom.
The Revolving Cycles Truly and Steadily Roll'd is scheduled to run through October 6.
