The Paley Center for Media in New York presented Behind the Scenes: Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert February 26, featuring the stars and creative team members behind the anticipated April 1 broadcast on NBC.
On hand were Superstar leads John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Brandon Victor Dixon, and Alice Cooper, as well as Superstar Live in Concert director David Leveaux, live television director/executive producer Alex Rudzinski, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, and executive producer Neil Meron.

The Easter Sunday broadcast of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert will take place in front of a live audience at the Marcy Armory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Jesus Christ Superstar premiered on Broadway in 1971 and was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Original Score for Lloyd Webber and Rice. The show was subsequently revived in 1977, 2000, and 2012.
