Soho Rep. celebrated the official opening of Kate Tarker’s war comedy Thunderbodies October 27, marking Tarker's—recipient of the 2017 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award—professional debut.
In Thunderbodies, described as a "grotesquely hilarious depiction" of an America through the looking glass, Grotilde has completed her life’s work of losing the last 10 pounds, General Michail has proposed, and the President is up to her new tricks.
Lileana Blain-Cruz directs a cast made up of Deirdre O’Connell, Juan Carlos Hernandez, Mia Katigbak, Monique St. Cyr, and Matthew Jeffers.
