London’s Almeida Theatre celebrated the press opening of its production of The Tragedy of Richard the Second December 18. Simon Russell Beale stars in Shakespeare's play about the limits of power, helmed by Joe Hill-Gibbins.

Performances of The Tragedy of Richard the Second began December 10 and are scheduled through February 2, 2019. The cast is completed by Leo Bill, Martins Imhangbe, Natalie Klamar, John Mackay, Joseph Mydell, Saskia Reeves, and Robin Weaver.
