Mark Brokaw directs the musical with songs by David Javerbaum and Adam Schlesinger and a book by Thomas Meehan and Mark O'Donnell.

In Cry-Baby, press notes state, "Everyone likes Ike, nobody likes communism, and Wade 'Cry-Baby' Walker is the coolest boy in town. James Snyder stars in the title role opposite Tony Award winner Harriet Harris. The cast also features Elizabeth Stanley, Carly Jibson, Chester Gregory II, Christopher J. Hanke, Lacey Kohl, Alli Mauzey, Courtney Balan and Richard Poe.
