Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway production of Oslo officially opens April 13 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. J.T. Rogers’ political drama details the secret peace talks that took place between Israel and the PLO in Norway in 1993.
The show, which began previews March 23, returns to the New York stage following an acclaimed earlier engagement at LCT’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater Off-Broadway.
The Broadway production reunites the entire original Off-Broadway cast, including two-time Tony winner Jennifer Ehle and Tony winner Jefferson Mays as the couple that orchestrated the covert meetings.
Tony winner Bartlett Sher directs a cast that also includes Michael Aronov, Anthony Azizi, Adam Dannheisser, Daniel Jenkins, Dariush Kashani, Jeb Kreager, Christopher McHale, Daniel Oreskes, Angela Pierce, Henny Russell, Joseph Siravo, and T. Ryder Smith.
The production features sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Donald Holder, and sound by Peter John Still.
