Cast Recordings & Albums Listen to Noah Reid's New Single From Upcoming Album Everyday

The Schitt's Creek star will make his Broadway debut in The Minutes next month.

Remember on Schitt's Creek when Patrick picked up a guitar at open mic night and serenaded his beau David with an acoustic version of Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" and viewers equally swooned?

Patrick, of course, was played by actor Noah Reid, also known as singer-songwriter Noah Reid. The multi-faceted performer, who makes his Broadway debut this spring in The Minutes, has just released the new single "Everyday" from his upcoming third solo album. His debut album Songs From a Broken Chair released in 2016, followed by Gemini in 2020.

“I wrote this song in the early days of the pandemic, when I’d look out the window at this park that’s usually full of kids and families but now was totally desolate,” says Reid. “It came from a feeling of being forced into a sort of loneliness, and not really knowing what to do about that.”

Check out "Everyday" below.

The Minutes, by Tony winner Tracy Letts, begins previews April 2 at Studio 54 ahead of an April 17 opening. Along with Reid, the cast features Tony nominee Ian Barford (Linda Vista), Tony winner Blair Brown (Copenhagen), Cliff Chamberlain (Superior Donuts), Tony nominee K. Todd Freeman (Airline Highway), playwright Letts (August: Osage County), Danny McCarthy (To Kill a Mockingbird), Tony winner Jessie Mueller (Waitress, Beautiful), Sally Murphy (Linda Vista), Tony nominee Austin Pendleton (Choir Boy), and Jeff Still (Oslo). Tony winner Anna D. Shapiro directs.
