Glee and Broadway favorite Matthew Morrison will return to the long-running ABC series Grey’s Anatomy, according to TVLine. The Tony nominee made his Grey’s debut in the 13th season as Dr. Paul Stadler, husband to Jo Wilson (played by Camilla Luddington).
Season 14 of the Shonda Rhimes drama will air September 28 with a two-hour episode.
Morrison was last on Broadway in the musical Finding Neverland. Other Broadway credits include a Tony-nominated performance in The Light in the Piazza, South Pacific, Hairspray, The Rocky Horror Show, and Footloose.
The vocals you hear from Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande was recorded live on set.
Nic Rouleau, Jacob Gutierrez, Telly Leung, Christian Borle, André De Shields, and more will be featured in the evening filmed in Washington, D.C.
The first of the two-part film brought in a staggering $164 million in its global opening weekend box office.
Composed by John Powell and Stephen Schwartz, the score was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and recorded at AIR Studios.
The murder mystery, a work of historical fiction, will debut on The Network next year.
