The hit Andrew Lloyd Webber musical The Phantom of the Opera will begin performances October 4 at the Mogador Theatre in Paris. The Paris production will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of The Phantom and will mark the first time the musical plays in France and in French.
Sierra Boggess, who has played Christine in London, on Broadway and in the Las Vegas production of Phantom, recreates her performance for the Paris premiere.
She is joined by Gardar Thor Cortes, who also starred as the Phantom in the Hamburg production of Love Never Dies.
The Paris premiere cast will also include Bastien Jacquemart (Raoul), Serenad (Carlotta), Jack Rebaldi (Monsieur André), Wim Van Den Driessche (Monsieur Firmin), Patricio Saxton (Piangi), Christine Tocci (Madame Giry), Emmanuelle Guélin (Meg Giry), as well as Eduward Akhmetshin, Yoni Amar, Robin Bailey, Dounia Behna, Louis-Héol Castel, Pierre-Antoine Chaumien, Maxime Cohen, Loïc Consalvo, Anne-Elisabeth Dubois, David Eguren, Romain Fructuoso, Nahia Gil, Laeticia Goepfert, Laurent Herbaut, Jonathan Kerr, Florie Leclercq-Dory, Lucie Louvrier, Michala Mazzoni, Eleonora Musumeci, Elena Rakova, Charlotte Ruby, Irène Savary, Asami Takahashi, Manon Taris, Claire-Elie Tenet, Fabrice Todaro, Jean Vendassi and Gabriella Zanchi.
