Symphony Space will pay tribute to late entertainment icon Judy Garland April 29, in an all-star evening featuring some of Broadway’s leading female performers. Project Broadway: The Judy Garland Songbook commemorates the 50th anniversary of Garland’s passing on June 22, 1969, at the age of 47.
Announced to perform are Tony nominees Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!), Laura Osnes (Cinderella), and Carolee Carmello (Parade), as well as Robyn Hurder (Moulin Rouge!), Jessica Vosk (Wicked), Rema Webb (The Color Purple), and Betsy Wolfe (Waitress).

The concert will celebrate Garland’s musical legacy with performances of her signature songs, including “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “The Trolley Song,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “The Man That Got Away,” and more.”
Fred Lassen music directs the 8 PM concert in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre.
