Jason Danieley has boarded the Broadway-bound musical adaptation of Pretty Woman. The stage favorite will take on the role of Philip Stuckey (played on screen in the 1990 film by Jason Alexander).
He joins a cast that includes the previously announced Samantha Barks as Vivian, Tony Award winner Steve Kazee as Edward, and Tony nominee Orfeh as Kit.

The comedy marks a reunion between Danieley and director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell following the 2000 Broadway production of The Full Monty (Danieley played Malcolm MacGregor; Mitchell earned his first Tony nomination for his choreography). “Now it is a pleasure to be back at it with Jason Danieley,” Mitchell said. “All I can say is I lucked out when he said yes!”
Danieley last appeared on Broadway as Billy Flynn in Chicago; his additional credits include The Visit, Next to Normal (opposite his wife, Marin Mazzie), Curtains, and Candide.
Kathleen Marshall is directing the musical about Ol' Blue Eyes that features a book by Joe DiPietro.
The show begins its fifth Broadway revival November 21 at the Majestic Theatre.
Kimberly Senior will direct Raffael Pacitti's one-person show.
Randal Myler will direct the rotating cast of the new show penned by Behar.
The Roundabout production was the long-awaited Broadway premiere of Hwang's semi-autobiographical play.
David Herskovits is directing the reexamination of the 1927 Oscar Hammerstein II-Jerome Kern musical Show Boat.
The Michael Griffo play is headed to St. Clement's Theatre beginning December 5.
Francesca Sabel will direct the 1950 Carson McCullers drama.
The current revival celebrated the work's 58th anniversary November 20.
