Irish Repertory Theatre celebrated the Off-Broadway opening of Conor McPherson’s The Seafarer April 18. The production, which was recently extended through May 24, stars two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick.
The Seafarer began performances March 30. Ciarán O’Reilly directs a cast completed by Colin McPhillamy as Richard, Michael Mellamphy as Ivan, Andy Murray as Sharky, and Tim Ruddy as Nicky. Broderick plays the role of Lockhart.
