Peppermint, the New York nightlife entertainer and RuPaul’s Drag Race star who made her Broadway debut in the Go-Go’s musical Head Over Heels, will join the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus for its annual Big Gay Sing concerts at the Skirball Center later this month.
NYCGMC's Big Gay Sing: Body & Soul runs March 22-24.
The concerts honor the contributions of black artists from gospel, jazz, R&B, pop, rap, and beyond, whose unique sound helped forge the musical identity of America. The chorus will pay tribute to the late Aretha Franklin, in addition to performing choral arrangements of pop hits by Beyoncé, The Temptations, Rihanna, John Legend, and Stevie Wonder.
Tickets, priced $25–$79, are available at NYUSkirball.org.
