Beautiful: The Carole King Musical celebrated five years on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre January 12. To commemorate the occasion, the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter took the stage to perform the show’s final number and gave a special post-show performance with the show’s current star, Chilina Kennedy.

With a book by Tony and Academy Award nominee Douglas McGrath, direction by Marc Bruni, and choreography by Josh Prince, Beautiful features an array of songs written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King and Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. The musical was nominated for seven Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Actress in a Musical, which Jessie Mueller won.
