Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the film sequel to the hit ABBA musical franchise Mamma Mia!, shared a high-energy behind-the-scenes glimpse as production wraps. The first official trailer, which features Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski, Amanda Seyfreid, and more reprising their performances, will drop December 21.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is set to premiere in July 2018 and promises to weave the present with flashbacks to provide further insight into the Sheridan family—and their many admirers.
Returning for the sequel are the 2008 movie’s original stars: Streep as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie, Baranski as Tanya, Seyfried as Sophie, and Dominic Cooper as Sky. The cast also features Cher, Andy Garcia, Lily James, Alexa Davies, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Jeremy Irvine, Josh Dylan, and Hugh Skinner.
Ol Parker serves as writer-director on the film.
