Disney can't hold it back anymore—or at least for an extra week, it seems. The sequel to their 2013 hit Frozen will be released in movie theatres November 22, 2019, instead of the previously announced November 27, Variety reports.
Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell are set to reprise their roles as Elsa and Anna, respectively, as well as Josh Gad as Olaf. Jennifer Lee, who earned a Tony Award nomination for her book to the Broadway musical adaptation, will again co-direct with Chris Buck.
After winning an Oscar's for the original film's "Let It Go" and a Tony nod for the musical's score, the songwriting duo of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez have penned new songs for the follow-up.
The musical adaptation from Disney Theatrical Productions continues to play the St. James Theatre.
