Tony winner John Benjamin Hickey (recently on Broadway in Six Degrees of Separation) stars in the world premiere of Matthew Lopez’s The Inheritance.
The two-part play, which explores the young gay community in New York a generation after the AIDS crisis of the ‘80s and ‘90s, began March 2 at London’s Young Vic.
Performances will run through May 19, with the official opening night set for March 28. The cast also features stage and screen legend Vanessa Redgrave, as well as Andrew Burnap, Samuel H. Levine, Kyle Soller, Hugo Bolton, Robert Boulter, Hubert Burton, Syrus Lower, Michael Marcus, Luke Thallon, and Michael Walters.
Tony winner Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot) directs. The production features sets and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting design by Jon Clark, and sound design by Paul Arditti and Chris Reid.
