Kristolyn Lloyd, recently seen Off-Broadway in Dominique Morisseau’s Paradise Blue and on Broadway in the Tony-winning Dear Evan Hansen, has joined the cast of the world premiere of Blue Ridge Off-Broadway.
Lloyd joins previously announced Tony nominee Marin Ireland in the new play by Abby Rosebrock (Dido of Idaho), to be directed by Taibi Magar (The Great Leap) at Atlantic Theater Company.

Also joining the cast of Blue Ridge are Kyle Beltran, recently seen in Fire in Dreamland at The Public Theater, Nicole Lewis (Bedlam's Sense and Sensibility), and Chris Stack (Ugly Lies the Bone). Additional casting will be announced.
Set in Southern Appalachia, Blue Ridge tells the story of a high school teacher who, after lashing out at her unethical boss, is sentenced to a church-sponsored halfway house.
The production is scheduled to run December 12–January 27, 2019, in the Linda Gross Theater, with a January 7 opening night.
Blue Ridge will feature scenic design by Adam Rigg, costume design by Sarah Laux, lighting design by Amith Chandrashaker, sound design by Mikaal Sulaiman, and casting by Telsey + Company: Adam Caldwell, CSA; Will Cantler, CSA; Karyn Casl, CSA.
Blue Ridge was developed at Williamstown Theatre Festival as part of the Boris Sagal Directing Fellowship/Drama League Residency.
